Anas Séguin

Winner of the 2014 ADAMI Opera Artist Revelation Award, Anas Séguin trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. He is a prize winner of the Toulouse International Singing Competition (2016) and the Voix Nouvelles Competition (2018).

From an early age, he has performed on major opera stages in France and across Europe : Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Opéra Comique, Capitole de Toulouse, Opéra National du Rhin, Opéra National de Bordeaux, Opéra de Lille, Opéra Royal de Versailles, Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Opéra de Lausanne, Staatsoper Stuttgart…

He also collaborates with ensembles such as Les Musiciens du Louvre, Les Talens Lyriques, Le Concert de la Loge, Insula Orchestra, Le Poème Harmonique, and Il Caravaggio.

His repertoire ranges from Baroque to the masterpieces of the 20th century. He notably sings major Mozart roles such as Il Conte Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Don Giovanni. He also performs the French romantic repertoire, including Valentin (Faust), Mercutio (Roméo et Juliette), Albert (Werther), and Escamillo (Carmen). At the same time, he performs in 20th-century works (Saint-François d’Assise, War and Peace, L’Amour des trois oranges…) and takes part in numerous baroque productions such as Lully’s Armide, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Campra’s Le Carnaval de Venise, and Galuppi’s L’Uomo femina.

Among his recent engagements are Valentin (Faust) in Limoges and Vichy, Léandre (L’Amour des trois oranges) at the Opéra national de Lorraine, La Haine (Armide) at the Opéra Comique, Gelsomino (L’Uomo femina) at the Opéra de Dijon, the Théâtre de Caen, and the Opéra Royal de Versailles, Léandre (Le Carnaval de Venise) on tour with Il Caravaggio, Mercutio(Roméo et Juliette) at La Seine Musicale, Wagner (Faust) at the Opéra de Lille and the Opéra Comique, Escamillo (Carmen) in Rabat, as well as Il Conte Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro) with Opéra Éclaté.

Among his projects this season and in the coming seasons : the title role in Don Giovanni on tour with Le Concert de la Loge, Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas) at the Royal Opera of Versailles, Gelsomino (L’Uomo femina) at the Opéra de Rouen and in Vienna, Valentin (Faust) at the Opéra de Tours and in Versailles, Il Conte Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro) in Marseille, Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Festival des Arcs, Albert (Werther) at Angers-Nantes Opéra, Rennes, and Caen, Don Giovanni and La Caravane du Caire in Versailles, Carmen in Monte Carlo, Ein Deutsches Requiem in Limoges…
